Port Ludlow

Our first port out of Seattle. In retrospect this was a better anchorage than we first thought.

While being surrounded by Condos, no matter how discretely placed in the woods, didn't meet with our original ideal of an anchorage in nature, no matter the weather that comes up, this is a place for a good night's sleep. The sight of an eagle hunting, it's agile, sudden turns and swoops, will be one of this trip's treasured memories.

我們離開西雅圖之後的第一個停泊港灣。現在回想，這個港灣比我們當時感覺的好太多了。

港灣被許多高級公寓環繞，儘管這些建築物被樹林隱約遮蔽著，這並不是我們最初想像的理想下錨之處。但是無論何種天候，這個地方保證一夜好眠。我們目睹老鷹獵食，它矯捷的動作，俐落的轉身與迴旋是我們此行珍藏的記憶之一。



一艘昨夜在漲潮駛入，卻在今晨退潮時擱淺的船，提醒我們慎選下錨處。
