6/28 -6/29 Farewell Harbor

This one's for Dennis Rea. How could I pass up staying at Farewell Harbor?

Farewell Harbor is a Taiwanese song that Chen Ming Chang performed and that both Dennis Rea and George Soler in Seattle have both done arrangements of.

I love the song, but the harbor is dominated by a sport fishing resort that runs its generator constantly, is regularly visited by float planes, and maintains a fleet of mosquito-like power boats that buzz around disturbing what would otherwise be an incredibly beautiful and peaceful anchorage.

We gladly bid adieu to Farewell Harbor and made our way to Retreat Passage.
