3. 淡水河床其實深深淺淺。幾次我翻船後欲展現高超的救生技術，腳一蹬卻發現自己站在河中間

6. 看到繩子就不知不覺的打起「稱人結」
7. 開始以農曆過日子（大潮馬上來臨啦！）
8. 河裡什麼都有，什麼都不奇怪（翻肚魚、直直插入水中的棍子、Rob的一隻藍白拖...)
9. 女人玩帆船非常酷
10. 「我要去航海。」.....「什麼！！！」得到無論是正向或負向的反應，總是嚇人家一大跳

西雅圖篇
1. 連在陸地上都覺得地面有節奏的搖晃，那就是我待在船上太久了！
2. 船上簡單、節約的生活讓我有時在享受陸地上文明時都覺得不可思議的奢侈
3. 貼在甲板奮力伸出上半身去抱住浮標以把船綁住時，美不美一點都不重要
4. 在船上坐在「客廳」裡，手一伸碰到身旁的爐子，人就到了「廚房」
5. 水面如鏡面般倒映著美麗風景，我們的反應是：「可惡！今天沒有風....」
6. 高超的洗碗技術（如何以最少的水把碗洗的最乾淨）
7. 船傾斜的時候走的最順，不用死命的把身體往另一邊傾試圖平衡

In Taipei

1. Despite its reputation for pollution, you can actually drink a few mouthfuls of the Danshui River without getting sick.
2. There are no swallows' nests on the bottom of Guandu bridge.
3. The Danshui riverbed is both shallow and deep. When our dinghy capsized, I was all ready to show off the lifeguarding skills I learned last summer, only to find myself standing in three feet of water.
4. When the trees dance in the wind, I can hardly take it: “Perfect sailing breeze!”
5. While out walking I catch myself turning my face side to side, trying to get the wind on both cheeks so I can keep track of which direction it's blowing from.
6. When I see a piece of rope or string, I start tying bowline knots.
7. I've started living by the lunar calendar: “Ah, the big tides are on their way!”
8. You can find anything and everything in the Danshui river, nothing is surprising any more—dead fish floating belly up, sticks standing straight up out of the river, even a pair of Rob's old flip flops stuck in the mud on the bottom.
9. A woman who sails is really cool.
10. “I'm going on a sail journey.” “What ! ! ! ” Whether the reaction is positive or negative, people are always shocked.

In Seattle

1. Even on dry land the world still rocks as if on waves. That's what happens when you stay on the boat too long.
2. Life on the boat is extremely simple. Living such a simple life makes my time spent back in civilization feel incredibly luxurious.
3. When I'm laying on deck, sticking my body out over the side to grab a mooring buoy, whether or not I look beautiful isn't even a little bit important.
4. When I sit in the boat's “living room” I can stick out my hand and touch the stove. That's how we go to the “kitchen.”
5. When the water is still, a perfect mirror reflecting nature's beauty, our first reaction is, “Oh no! No wind today...”
6. The art of dish washing: How to use the least amount of water to get the maximum amount of cleanliness.
7. The boat sails best when heeled over at an angle, there is no need to lean out with all of one's life trying to make it level again.
8. When the situation is urgent, Rob's yelling is not actually an attack on me.
9. Women on sailboats are common place.
10. “I'm going on a sail journey.” “Have a good time.” Nobody even bats an eyelash.
